If my P3 goes from min load to 100% temp of heatsink goes from body temp to barely touchable. On topic again. Had a look at compiling QT5 on a windows box, but it didn't make me happy. As far as I understood it you must configure QT 5 with options needed and then compile it.
Just as its done with most Linux stuff, like the kernel.

They say that SoulseekQt was ported from Qt4 to Qt5 in their latest release...

I can only find build with Qt 5.0.2.
