installing NeoLoader on non debian distro

HI,
I'm trying to install NL on a different distro, I managed to unpack the .deb and place the files somewhere but I'm not sure if the NeoSetup executable might be break my installation, what does it do exactly? I can see is meant to update some libs but will it try to run dpkg to install systemwide or just update the NeoLoader folder with some libs?
if the former case is true how could I skip it (assuming I manage to update all needed libs by some other means)?

thanks

ok, it seems the NeoSetup just works on the NeoLoader folder without messing with the dpkg system, installing it as a regular user folder and launching NeoSetup with regular user permissions works fine, which is really good news :)

Thanks for the information and sorry for the missing support, but we're very busy irl.
