hmm....
Not good, i will have to investigate the problm a bit more...

EDIT: Its a strange problem, other neo binarys work fine on XP, it seams to be some issue with initialising some static structures, that onlyoccurs when building with QtCreator, building with Vs does have not yeal this issue....

I will upload a new setup file compiled with VS, its easyer than finding out why QtCreator fails...

No,
no CPU specific releases are planned.

The advantage of such optimizations are negligible for P2P applications, most stuff neo does is a job for ALU's and most CPU optimizations work with the FPU or vectoring.
For raw Data processing like for example video rendering/compression it helps a lot, but for normal program logic code it does not help.

Where it helps is for example file hashing but afaik the used library is already quite highly optimized in this regard.

says me it crashed trying to do some SSE operations,
you wrote earlier that you have a P3 processor, this is quite old,
it is possible that qt5 will not run on your hardware at all.

Have you tryed the neolaoder befoure 0.35 with qt4?
did this one worked?


If that would be the case I would have to release a "legacy" build compiled with an older compiler.....
